The puzzled doll is made from an old garage sale doll that I
painted and embellished.
The alien doll is my own pattern design, made of fabric and embellished.

Slug, Pregnant Fairy, Naked Dancer
You know, I don't like to dress dolls, so my dolls are nearly all naked or
have clothing painted on.  The slug is on Gallery Two, with her story.  The pregnant fairy has wings
on her back made of a little butterfly pin.  The naked dancer, to me, represents how we women
so often see our bodies as distorted, yet we still want to dance.

Older Lady Raggedy Ann
She got herself a George Hamilton tan, a sexy duct tape dress, and a real pretty smile.
What a woman!

I made this doll about 12 years ago from a pattern.  I think it was a McCalls pattern.  But one day I
came home and found that my old Siamese cat, Johnny, had ripped into the embroidery on her
face.  So, I stored her away until I could think of what to do with her.  Then it struck me that she needed a whole new lease on life, so I gave her that golden tan, painted her face to show the trials she's been through, and made her a duct tape pinafore.  She's even wearing some hoop earrings.  She's been through it!  But she's still smiling, maybe a tired little smile, but a smile.
