My Pets
PLEASE! Get your pets spayed or neutered.
You will be doing your pet, yourself, and society a great favor if you do.
The unwanted domestic pet population is hard on everyone. It also creates
things like feral cats who can come to harm quickly, or who can become a rabies threat.
If you cannot afford to get your cat or dog spayed or neutered, call around and see
if there is an agency who will help you with the cost. It is so important to do this.

Here is an example of why. This kitten showed up on our porch yesterday, Friday, June 13.
He was too small to have gotten here on his own, someone must have left him.
He had three embedded ticks on his neck, eye infections, giardia, and ear mites. How something
so tiny kept such a great attitude with all his problems is amazing to me. He's the sweetest thing.
He's had a few veterinarian visits and medicines, and he's doing great.

Amazing what 13 days of love, good food, and medication will do.

Here's a picture of Betty napping next to Walter. They're sleeping in my chair,
and I don't have the heart to make them get up and move. Betty is snoring like a drunken sailor.
Bodie
Bodie isn't my Boston Terrier. He belongs to a dear friend of mine in Southern California.
He is one spectacular Boston Terrier, the star of the show, the light of his Daddy's eye.
The small black dog behind Bodie is a little Pug I believe.

Before and after
Both are Walter. On the left a few days before his Summer hair cut. On the right he's all ready for Summer.
His ear doesn't really stand out like that. LOL I simply captured it in flight.
Betty and Walter Playing on the back porch
I dunno why, but I just love this picture:
It has come to my attention that I should put a more "normal" picture of my sweetie here. So, here's one:
Handsome son-of-a-gun, isn't he!?
Betty squinting up at me.
It looks to me like she's saying,
"I vant to keeeessss you."
I mean, look at those cute little lips!
Is she cute or what??? Well, aside from
Walter's muddy paw prints on her shiny black back.
I mean these two dogs, Betty and Walter are
THE perfect dogs!
