Woo HOOO!!!  My secret birthday party

I do not know when this happened, but Larry opened the front door this morning and
there had been a party out there!  There is a sign that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY", presents
and even guests!

Thanks Dave Leiker (photographer) and Cheryl Unruh (writer) !!!
Their work can be found here:

Really gave me a great and wonderful boost.

Imagine stepping outside to a Happy Birthday sign!  How cool was that???  VERY!

Here are the birthday guests.  They brought along things to play with,
Playdoh, harmonicas, horns (unshown here), guns.................

They arrived in a bag.  I assume to keep them warm.  Frogs and octopii
cuddle inside bags to stay warm.  That's a rule I just made up just now.

But then this happened!  Havoc broke loose right on my front porch
at my birthday party.  It was scary for a bit there.  The frogs attacking
the Octopus, and the octopus grabbing guns to protect himself.
I had to intervene.  But it's okay.  I brought out my presents and that
settled them right down.

See how they became mesmerized by the wonderful gifts?   No more fighting
for them.  No siree.  They'll live in peace from now on.  At least that's what they promised.
We'll see..................

That book is one that had caught my eye before, and I'd wanted to read it.  I'm so
grateful to have it now.  Life is a verb, meant to be lived, pursued, ridden hard and ridden well.
Yes, live intentionally.  I will get into that book today!

The picture is one of Dave Leiker's wonderful works.  I am moved by it.
It is so "me", so what I'd pick out if I saw it.  It's
hard for me to describe in words what I think and feel when I look at it.
It is deep and meaningful.  I will treasure it always.

This has been a year of big, scary change for us.  I do have to say though, there have been more
blessings than anything else this year.  I for sure will not forget 2008.
