THE GREAT TOILET SEAT ART SHOW AND AUCTION!

The City of Lucas, Kansas needs accessible, eccentric, visionary, quirky public restrooms on Main Street.

The auction was a fundraiser for this facility sponsored by the Grassroots Art Center and the Flying Pig Studio and Gallery.

Opening: Saturday, August 30, 2008

Ended: October 18, 2008

The exhibit was located at the Flying Pig Studio and Gallery at 123 S. Main Street.

Donations Glady Accepted

For a $25.00 donation, The Grassroots Art Center will list a person(s), Business, or Foundation on the Grassroots Art Center webpage as donors to the "Bowl Plaza."

All donors will also be listed in a booklet of the photographs of "The Great Toilet Seat Art Show" sculptures.

Over 60 creative individuals and grassroots artists, both in-state and out-of-state,

have delivered whimsical, ornamented entries for the show.

Winning Bidders are responsible for shipping costs

or will need to pick up their art.

This exhibit and workshop were sponsored in part by the

Kansas Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts,

Wayne and Louella Naegele, Todd and Lisa Goodheart, Dorothy Johnson,
