Mandala Art
I wanted to try my hand at Geometric Mandala Art.
So, I bought Martha Bartfeld's book on how to do that.
It gives the basics on the geometry of the thing, and you fly from there.

This is my 4th attempt.  What a nice time I had coloring it.

I'm getting these out of order.  Ah well.
This one below is my 3rd completed geometric mandala.
I am happier with this one than I was the second one, which happens to be the
third one on this page.

The one below is my very first completed geometric mandala.  I made a whole
lot of mistakes.  I don't see any deep meaning in this one, so wonder if freehand
drawing and painting taps into the deep recesses of my mind better.

This next one is my second.  It was made a few days after the one above.
I'm not thrilled with it, but it is what it is.  .
Drawing a disappointing mandala is nothing to fuss over.
I think it's good to make mistakes, we learn from them.
